A model of the International Docking Adapter-3 payload is on display for NASA Social during a What’s On Board science briefing at the agency’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida on July 23, 2019.

The briefing was held for SpaceX’s 18th Commercial Resupply Services (CRS-18) mission to the station. The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket and uncrewed Dragon spacecraft are scheduled to launch July 24, 2019, from Space Launch Complex 40 at Florida’s Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.

Weather update: 70% NO GO odds remain for today.

Unseasonable cold front is the culprit for extra moisture and the steering flow bringing all the thunderstorms that do develop toward the space port.

Updated forecast has now been posted by the 45th (attached) but it’s the one generated yesterday that never appeared!

Jessica going through the process of getting the Dragon ready and certify the Dragon for three flights.  Everything is certified for 4x times longer than will be needed (e.g., if a tank needs to be pressurized 30 times over three flights, its certified for 120 pressurization cycles).

Purge line remained attached to Dragon on CRS-17. Investigative action.  No damage.  Workmanship issues have been fixed.

Backup dates:  Dragon phasing; Progress departure and Progress launch.

If not off ground by Thursday, likely have to wait until Aug. 1
