Just as a heads up, I would like to note that it is now more than just theoretical that SpaceX's Starship and NASA's Space Launch System rocket could make their orbital launch attempts during the same month, August 2022. While I would not say it's likely, both rockets presently have notional launch targets within three weeks of one another next month.
Whether the Starship makes its first orbital launch next month is contingent on how much progress is made by SpaceX in making the necessary minor adjustments to the environmental surroundings near the Starbase launch site for the Starship. For now, news attention with respect to super-heavy lift SLVs is being devoted to the upcoming launch of Artemis 1 in late August/early September (of course, the manner of the alignment of the Earth and Moon will play a role in helping NASA determine a precise launch date for Artemis 1).

Whether the Starship makes its first orbital launch next month is contingent on how much progress is made by SpaceX in making the necessary minor adjustments to the environmental surroundings near the Starbase launch site for the Starship.

wrong, it will be based on the technical readiness of the vehicle.

There are other threads to discuss when/why Starship will be ready for flight.  Unless it's actual news of a launch date that discussion doesn't belong in this thread.

F9/Starlink G3-1: SpaceX calls this the 51st Starlink flight; we don't understand their numbering; it's 51 flights if you include two prototypes launched on another mission; and what about two Transporter flights that had Starlinks aboard? We count 50 dedicated Starlink flights

Northrop Grumman Corp., Space Systems Sector, Dulles, Virginia, has been awarded a $22,145,129 cost-plus-fixed-fee undefinitized contract for the Rapid On-orbit Space Technology Evaluation Ring (ROOSTER) effort. This contract provides for the delivery of a ROOSTER space vehicle, a multi-manifest rideshare satellite supporting operational and prototype missions in a geostationary orbit and maturing technology needed to conduct on-orbit refueling for future missions. Work will be performed in Dulles, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by Feb. 28, 2026. This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition. Fiscal 2022 Space Force research, development, test and evaluation funds in the amount of $4,200,000 are being obligated at the time of award. U.S. Space Force, Space Systems Command, El Segundo, California, is the contracting activity (FA8814-22-C-0004).

Well, that's... radical:

https://twitter.com/SciGuySpace/status/1547668890213240832

https://blogs.nasa.gov/psyche/2022/07/14/nasa-begins-psyche-mission-review/

Interesting that, as has been repeatedly pointed out in this site and elsewhere, Psyche is the sister mission to Lucy, which was heralded as having completed its development phase in record time, slightly ahead of schedule and under budget. Inquiring minds wonder how such a similar mission has run into such problems instead, putting straight cancellation publicly on the table.
