It will mark the 75th Atlas V flight to originate from Space Launch Complex-41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

The payload was hoisted atop its launch vehicle on Monday, Jan. 10 to begin integrated operations. Final pre-launch readiness reviews and rollout to the launch pad will occur in the coming days.

Launch-minus 1 Week!

My attempt at patch-ology:  Four perched owls would match the four operational GSSAP satellites. 🦉

The two flying owls would be the satellites aboard.

The two gold stars match the two previous successful launches.  The silver star signifies the current launch.

MMXXI = 2021.  Darn delays!  I wonder what the delays were due to.

Edit: Correction.

GSSAP 5 & 6 (USSF-8)
Launch Time
Fri Jan 21, 2022 19:00 UTC

First flight of Atlas V 511

I disagree about a launch promptly at 19:00 UTC. The NOTAM must start some unknown-to-us number of minutes before the launch for safety, yes?  And, close some minutes after the launch window closes?

So, NET 19:00 and NLT 21:54 UTC.

Making a >guess<, the launch window might open circa 19:10 or 19:15 UTC?  And close circa 21:45 UTC?

And, the above does not account for the possibility of intentionally obscuring the actual launch window until the last feasible moment--for national security reasons.

Edit: correction
Also: I was wrong. Launched at 19:00:00 UTC.

Is there a copy of the mission patch out there somewhere? Only seen it on the rocket and can't really see the detail? Thanks.

Not really what you are asking for, but here is an amateurishly masked, non-orthorectified crop of the mission logo from the fairing.

Here's the ulalaunch background image for this flight.
At 1920x1080 it is wider but lower resolution than the 6601x8401 launch poster posted above.
(Nice artwork for this mission!)

It will be the only flight for 511 variant.

#ToryTalk // #USSF8 will be the one and only mission to fly on our mighty #AtlasV 511, known as "Big Slider." @torybruno
explains how this unique configuration will provide just the right amount of thrust to deliver the twin spacecraft directly to near-geosynchronous orbit.
