They only deform in one axis and have built in flexural joints, so pretty much any steel will work just fine.

Had to google that:

Good stuff thanks!

(I'm a systems and computer engineer, not mechanical.  so much to learn!)

An interesting parade down Highway 4 to the launch site. It looks like new subcoolers on two of the SPMTs.

Leading the parade could be a cable tray belt for chopsticks, is the word (unconfirmed).

New parts arrived at Sanchez and it looks like we could get a dual flame bucket. Parts resembling the ones seen to make up the Massey flame bucket cradle have been spotted next to OLM B, thanks to @RGVaerialphotos. Will need to wait and see how deep the trench goes and how high the formed walls will be to make up the height.

CATDLR: The renderes are incomplete and a work in progress based on available parts recognized from photos and past work from the Massey Flame trench site. When more data is available, the OLM location and the ramp surface structure will be added.

Flyovers show the area being excavated is asymmetric (extends well to the south-east of the tower base, but little to the north-west) and the latest RGV flyover shows the north-west end and the south-west side will have wraparound concrete walls extending at a minimum up to ground level. Likely any 'flame bucket' will be unidirectional like the test stands at McGregor and at Masseys, just larger. That avoids a multiway diverter with an 'apex' that projects into the exhaust stream.

Assembly of the mechanical level for OLM 2 has begun.  The first corner section has been lifted onto the completed base structure.

Looking at humans for scale, you can see how massive this structure is.

SpaceX Starbase. How the second orbital launch mount is assembled.

A few days ago, large steel elements were delivered to Starbase Boca Chica in Texas. Many of these parts look like they could be part of the new OLM (Orbital Launch Mount) from Pad B. I have analyzed these parts and animated them in a 3D model so that you can better imagine how this launch platform will be assembled and look like.

During the live stream, via a source, it was discussed that the High Bay had 12 months before the tear-down.

The new Starship Orbital Launch Module (OLM) for Pad 2 may resemble Japan's mobile launch platform designed for its H-Class Launch Vehicles (LVs), specifically regarding the square launch platform, mobility without the twin towers. It's not exact, but close.  A video detailing its construction can be found here:

And just like that, the ADS-30Q Drawworks - aka The Heart Of Mechazilla - has been lifted into position!

It's pretty rare to see something installed the moment it's delivered. The rush to finish as much Launch Site construction as possible before Flight 6 is real!
