I guess they'll use the Ku gateways for testing the payloads after launch?https://fcc.report/IBFS/SES-LIC-INTR2020-03198It is not Garteway, it is user terminal with 1 m dish, for high speed like 300...500 Mbits That isn't the user terminal.

As I understand Space X file for FCC all what work in Ka band are Gatewaysall what work in Ku band are user terminal

The McGregor filing is for a gateway. None of the Ku-band gateways have received their license yet, all are operating under STA.

There are may be only 30 sats ver 0.9 in space now..
They don't make V-band sound very promising here...
I have some doubts about the veracity of that claim.
SpaceX has got the approval to launch 10 Starlink satellites on this mission.https://docs.fcc.gov/public/attachments/DA-21-34A1.pdf
On Friday, Musk spoke with Acting Chairwoman Rosenworcel about the modification requested last April. Looks like there is a flurry of effort by SpaceX to finish the request and its competitors to keep the conversation going. One interesting statement by SpaceX is that Amazon may have abandoned its system entirely. That would be big news, if true!
