PAO says no issues right now, guess he doesn't know about the OMS pressure issue
He does! You have to see how he frames it: "The launch team is not working any issues that would prevent us from launching".

It's the part that I emphasized that allows him not to mention the OMS pressure issue.
Which they do on purpose because otherwise people get the wrong idea. He will most likely explain it after it's all a done deal.

And back on the launch the crew should be waking up about now

Which is why we're following launch operations here instead of relying on the PAO  ;D

Crew was due to wake up at midnight Eastern, so they will be up by now.

Getting ready for the ECO dry test, was a big issue back on STS-122

Also mentioned by Allard was the checks on the ECOs.

*Chris note*: Which was successful.

MILA issue noted, waiting on context (doesn't sound like anything serious).

So now we have about two hours of tanking to go. Then we'll see how the APU-1 Heater System works. Fully expect no problems.

Reminder I've written another article on that, expanded to include issue to flight rationale:

Everything going well. Only a MILA issue noted (KFRL), sounds minor.

Good news on some minor technical issues on the orbiter (IPR's) over on L2.
« Last Edit: 05/16/2011 05:08 am by Ronsmytheiii »

Offline Chris Bergin

On the above.

IPR-66 is the latest: Auto start bellows heater failure (ET-122). Manual start ok. Closed as the console being out of config.

MILA issue closed.
