With pain in my heart I can't delay getting away from the computer for about an hour, please enjoy the show for me, can't wait to get back to see how this all ends.

With some Wire ties help, we can see more clearly the MMOD shield, now...

My thought: Thank you for re-sheathing the knife.  :)

Cutting the MMOD shield without leaving razor sharp edges to avoid will be interesting.

MCC-M also voiced that concern.

The shear work cutting a 3-sided flap into the MMOD shielding is proceeding smartly.

I've missed most of this one, unfortunately, but this is quite wild- that knife [which resembles my wife's steak cutter] waving around is very scary! :o

Are there any cables running on the exterior of the orbital module?  There's been talk of watching out for cables and using cable ties...

Also, what are the slight, regular indentations in the pressure vessel--rivets?

THERE'S the hole.

(Didn't think I'd use this italicized phrase on an NSF forum): In Chris' attached image, post above, it's the black dot to the right of the knife-point.

Is this the "Black dot" hole ?

That's my understanding, but I'm not claiming infallibility.

Does not look like any hole thru the outer layer of meteor shielding?

How much more time can they spend "on-site" before having to start return to the airlock?
