Hello everyone!
On Friday, we received training on various emergency response methods at the Kennedy Space Center and its surrounding areas. It was my first time to drive an MRAP (armored armoured protective vehicle), which is used to evacuate from a rocket launch site, so it was a lot of fun! Since the vehicle has a high centre of gravity, it is necessary to drive carefully to avoid tipping over.

Hello!
I'm training in Houston this week.
Today we received training in inserting catheters for intravenous drips and reviewing video shooting using various cameras.
The catheters are inserted by volunteer staff who help with the training, and I insert the needles with a feeling of both gratitude and regret.

Hello everyone!
Today, we tested the operation to return to the ISS using a device called SAFER after becoming separated from the ISS during a spacewalk.
On the day of the exam, there was no practice and the test was taken straight away (I felt a bit of pressure because failure was not an option lol). Thanks to all the training I had done up until that point, I was able to pass.

Good evening everyone!
Yesterday we took a test on our knowledge and procedures regarding the space suits used in extravehicular activities.
There are many situations you don't want to think about, such as losing power in your suit during an extravehicular activity, but with training you will be able to respond calmly.
I passed the exam successfully.
Next week we will finally be training in Japan!

We arrived in Japan safely!
This time, we plan to conduct training at facilities in various countries over a short period of time, so adjusting to time differences is also an important part of the job.
My doctor has given me detailed instructions about wearing sunglasses, taking naps, and when to expose myself to blue light, and I am following those instructions.

I looked for a booster number but could not find it.  Is it cropped out of the photo, or turned away from the camera?

The photos were taken during a Hangar X tour on April 11th, its not mentioned if the booster is related to this launch.

True.
IIRC, earlier in the Crew Dragon program, the crews were photographed with their assigned (at the time of visiting Hangar X) first stage.

I suppose the launch pace has accelerated since then, and boosters are not held back for very long before launch, so that opportunity no longer exists?

Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Platonov is ready for extravehicular activity: results of the qualifying training on the Vykhod-2 simulator
| Crews
April 28, 2025

During the test training for preparing and conducting extravehicular activity (EVA), Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Platonov performed the entire cycle of operations that Russian crew members perform in a similar situation in the conditions of a real space flight on the ISS RS.

The ISS RS and Vykhod-2 simulators help to reproduce EVA conditions as accurately as possible at the CPC. This simulator includes modules of the main and backup airlock compartments with equipment in a mock-up version, which allows practicing all the necessary operations.

“At the final training session, I had a task – to show all my knowledge, the skills that I had acquired, and to perform all the procedures without errors. Accordingly, prepare the station, the airlock compartment for the EVA, prepare the spacesuit, check its reliability. Then perform the actual entry into the spacesuit, direct airlocking, exit into open space, handle emergency situations if they arise, in accordance with the onboard instructions, and then enter the airlock compartment, perform the reverse airlocking. I tried to do everything flawlessly, with high quality, so as not to let the instructors down," said Oleg Platonov.

During the test training on the Vykhod-2 simulator, the cosmonaut demonstrated the skills he had acquired during the training process for performing forward and reverse airlocking in the Orlan spacesuit. He checked the spacesuit, then the compartment for leaks, and isolated it from the rest of the station using a hatch.

Next, Oleg Platonov carried out a desaturation procedure to prepare the body for work in the spacesuit (the usual composition of the atmosphere was replaced with oxygen), and released the pressure in the compartment to be able to open the entrance hatch and begin extravehicular activity.

At each stage of the test training, the cosmonaut eliminated emergency situations. During direct airlocking, Oleg Platonov eliminated the consequences of a leak in the spacesuit. During direct work in "open space", he encountered a rapid drop in pressure inside the spacesuit. And when "returning on board", during the reverse airlock, he discovered a leak in the exit hatch. After eliminating this abnormal situation, the cosmonaut restored the atmosphere in the compartment so that the pressure equalized with the other "modules" on the ISS, and exited the spacesuit.

Then Oleg Platonov returned to the ISS RS simulator, where he completed the operations to bring the "station" to its original state after the EVA.

"I must be ready to perform an EVA in the event of any unscheduled situations. And I am also preparing as operator number 3, who directly supports the EVA operators: helps prepare the station, helps with spacesuits, with hatches inside the station. Perhaps I will have a mission using the robotic "arm" manipulator to support the EVA," Oleg Platonov explained the upcoming tasks during the space flight.

The cosmonaut demonstrated excellent skills in preparing and carrying out extravehicular activities and received high marks from instructors. Let us recall that the cosmonaut is currently undergoing training as part of the main crew of SpaceX Crew-11 as a specialist for the Crew Dragon mission.

The Crew-11 crew practised on a Russian station simulator how to deal with emergency situations: fire and decompression. I have attached a few sample photos of the many shown on the GCTC (Gagarin Research and Test Cosmonaut Training Center) website: https://www.gctc.ru/main.php?id=7144.

Today is the first day of training back in Houston.
After undergoing a visual field test as part of my health care, I was then trained to use an intraocular pressure measuring device to measure eye pressure. Placing the measuring probe on the eye and stabilizing it requires extremely delicate control.
I was able to train thoroughly and get the hang of it.

NASA, Partners Adjust Summer 2025 Space Station Flight Planning [May 14]

Quote
After reviewing the International Space Station flight schedule, NASA and its partners are shifting launch opportunities for several upcoming missions. The schedule adjustments provide more time to finalize mission plans, spacecraft readiness, and logistics.

The new targeted no-earlier-than-launch opportunities, pending operational readiness, are:
 • NASA’s SpaceX Crew-11: Late July

[...]

As part of Crew-11, NASA astronauts Zena Cardman and Mike Fincke, JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) astronaut Kimiya Yui, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Platonov will launch to the space station aboard a Dragon and Falcon 9 from Launch Complex 39A. There, the crew of four will hand over with the agency’s SpaceX Crew-10 crew before embarking on a long-duration mission aboard station.
