In case you can't made it out, the dual launch support structure forms part of the fairing outer surface, similar to the SPLEDA system used on the Ariane 4 (as opposed to the SYLDA on the A-4/5).

The two people being interviewed are Sun Jiadong (the chief designer of the Compass navigation system) and Jiang Jie (the current chief engineer of the Long March 3 series).
