An article appearing in Digitaljournal.com yesterday about CFOSAT.
http://www.digitaljournal.com/news/world/first-joint-france-china-satellite-to-study-oceans/article/505587

"France and China's space agencies unveiled their first joint satellite in Beijing Friday, which will be used to improve forecasting of ocean storms and cyclones.

The satellite, named CFOSAT (China-France Oceanography Satellite), is due to be launched next year by China and will primarily be used to study wind and ocean wave patterns." (para 1 and 2)

The satellite will be placed into Earth's orbit in the second half of 2018 by a rocket from China's "Long March" programme. The project is scheduled to last three years." (last paragraph)

First Sino-French satellite joint venture. Has France and China collaborated in other spaceflight related joint venture before?

There are two CZ-2Ds being preparing for launch in JSLC
These rockets arrived at JSLC on Oct. 16

According to the China Spaceflight site, Fengyun 4H is still listed for this year but without a month being shown.   Zhongxing-6C is listed as being due this month.

FY-4 and ZX-6 both must be dalayed, in the coming months, BDS-3 and YG-30 01 series have higher priority

About the launch schedule for the Chinese for the rest of 2017 and early 2018, I can only say that there are a lot of launches coming up.

For Xichang, here's a quote from the vice-director of XSLC following the BDS launch on November 3:

"The pressure is high right now. During the 100 or so days from now till the Lunar New Year (for 2018 the day falls on February 16), we have 7 launches coming up, flying 16 satellites to orbit. There are launches with single, double and triple satellites, which means we will have to launch once every 15-16 days on average. Such a launch cadence is unprecedented - in that past our launch center is designed to handle 15 launches per year with our 2 launch pads, but we now have a back log of around 20 launches from now till late 2018. Our facilities, equipment, command/control and personnel will be tested to the limits in order to complete all launch campaigns."

The article is ambiguous on whether the Nov. 3 launch is included in the 7 launches - I suspect that it does, because if not the launches cannot be over 13-14 days apart. The 16 satellites and double/triple satellites per launch quotes are also interesting, as the doublets must be BDS navigation satellites and the triplets are most likely from the new YG-30 series (of which it was officially reported that more are coming).

To fit in with the quotes, the combination can only be these 2:
- 3 x YG-30 series triplets launches + 3 x BDS doublets launches + 1 x single satellite launch
- 4 x YG-30 series triplets launches + 1 x BDS doublets launches + 2 x single satellite launch

Given that the Chinese are desperately trying to get BDS to IOC by late 2018 (which requires 18 new satellites, or 9 launches), I suspect the first combination is the correct one. This will means that we might see at least 3 more (!) CZ-2C launches from Xichang from now till mid-February.  ::)

For Jiuquan the reports are just in that GJ-1 will fly around December 25-28 and there's another launch before on December 2 (of which the payload is unknown). Both might be CZ-2D launches. There should also be a CZ-11 with 2 Jilin-1 satellites somewhere within this period.

For Taiyuan we know of FY-3D which should fly on November 15 (still waiting on confirmation) and Jilin-1 on the second CZ-6 on November 21.

I don't think CASIC have any launches left for 2017, but they should fly KZ-11 early next year.

All in all, there's a lot of speculation and maybe up to 10 (!) launches before 2017 closes, but few can be correlated to known satellites.  :-X

Maybe a useful addition to Galactic Pinguins reply. According to this source http://www.htjyw.cn/read.php?tid=12997&fid=26 there are planned 4 more space missions this year which will be accompanied by the Yuanwang tracking ship fleet. Consequently we can assume that the maximum number of XSLC launches until the end of the year is 4.

December November (?) - CZ-3B/YZ-1 - XSLC, LC2 - Beidou-3MEO3; Beidou-3MEO4

If the Beidou launch is slipping into December, will Alcomsat be able to hold that date? I seem to recall the minimum pad turnaround at Xichang is 2-3 weeks, unless that has decreased in the last few years.
