EasternShoreSpaceflight@EShoreSpacefltElectron HASTE VAN Mission — Launch UpdateIt looks like the NOTAM for Sunday’s launch attempt has been removed, but we’re still seeing the airspace and mariner notices active for Monday morning. That means the Electron HASTE VAN mission window will most likely begin on Monday, November 17, at 7:45 AM EST (12:45 UTC).We’ll keep monitoring for any updates or official word from Rocket Lab as the weather and schedule shape up for early next week.

EasternShoreSpaceflight@EShoreSpacefltSuccessful Launch! 🚀We had a beautiful launch of the Electron HASTE VAN mission this morning — liftoff right at 8:00 AM on the dot!The rocket actually passed directly across the Sun, and a few photographers out there managed to capture the moment using solar filters — absolutely incredible shots.Everyone was so excited about the launch that I totally forgot I had a slow-motion video running on my phone mounted to my main camera. Once I get it edited, I’ll post that later — but for now, enjoy a few shots from this morning’s liftoff.
Chris Leymarie@ChrisLeymarie@RocketLab successfully launched from @NASAWallops today at 8AM in support of their HASTE program. I believe this is the first ever Electron solar transit! Thank you @kyle_LTS for helping me track it! Cant’s wait for more Electrons from LC-2 in Virginia @Peter_J_Beck! $RKLB
Nov 18, 2025Caught this purely by accident during this morning’s Electron HASTE VAN mission launch! My phone was mounted on top of my camera, recording in slow motion, and I completely forgot it was running. The result: a stunning clip showing the rocket transiting the Sun, disappearing briefly, and reappearing just above it as it climbed. Pretty amazing view from Wallops!
EasternShoreSpaceflight@EShoreSpacefltElectron HASTE “VAN” — Two Cool Launch Videos Here are two clips I captured this morning from the Electron HASTE VAN mission launch:🎥 1. Slow-Motion Launch Video:I started recording about 30 seconds before liftoff from my phone mounted on top of my camera — then got so caught up cheering the solar transit that I forgot it was recording! When I checked later, I realized I’d accidentally captured an awesome slow-motion shot of the rocket leaving the pad, crossing the Sun, disappearing, and reappearing above it.🎥 2. Sunrise Propellant Load Time-Lapse:Arrived around 5:45 AM, just as propellant loading began. Filmed about 10 minutes and condensed it into a 1-minute clip — loved how the sky color shifted as the Sun came up behind the rocket.4K Videos Here:@NASASpaceflight
Will Hall@will__hall1It was a beautiful morning for Electron Launch number 75. This suborbital mission was named Van.
