Sidus Space initially planned to launch its first LizzieSat on Transporter-9 in Q4 2023. However,  the company adjusted its launch manifest to take advantage of the opportunity to cover more populated areas and increase data revenue. The updated schedule targets a first launch in Q1 2024, followed by two LizzieSats on a Bandwagon mission in Q2 2024.

Anyone heard of SpaceX’s Bandwagon-1 mission? Fleet Space plans to launch Centauri-6 satellite on it in April 2024. From the attached Fleet Space filing of a presentation to the FCC.

Capella Space to Launch Two Acadia Satellites with SpaceX

December 5, 2023
Acadia-generation satellites to launch on SpaceX’s Bandwagon-1 mission and on the Transporter-11 mission via Exolaunch

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, Dec. 5, 2023– Capella Space Corp., an American space tech pioneer with data and satellite solutions for government and commercial use, and a leader in the Earth observation industry, today announced that two Acadia satellites, Acadia-4 and Acadia-5, will launch with SpaceX in 2024.

The Acadia-4 satellite will be launched to a 45-degree mid-inclination orbit (MIO) during SpaceX’s Bandwagon-1 mission no earlier than April 2024, while the Acadia-5 satellite will be launched no earlier than June 2024 to a 97-degree sun-synchronous orbit (SSO) during SpaceX’s Transporter-11 mission via Exolaunch, who will provide mission management and integration services for this mission.
...
In addition to the upcoming launches with SpaceX, Capella will also continue working with Rocket Lab to launch satellites into orbit.

Tomorrow.io schedule update from SAT-AMD-20230406-00075 filed today. The first satellites are now scheduled to be launched on Bandwagon-1 instead of Transporter-10. The next pair on Transporter-11. The ODAR update filed a week earlier confirms the satellites are still 6U, still to be launched on "SpaceX Falcon 9 rideshare missions."

Tomorrow.io is telling the FCC Bandwagon-1 is targeting April 1st.

Quote
I was able to speak to SpaceX this evening, and confirmed that, in fact, they misspoke, we do not need to provide a grant by this Friday, rather they need inputs from us in support of their FAA license application such as information about our spacecraft and pending application, etc.

My sincere apologies for the fire drill, and miscommunication on that deadline. I did ask them what would be reasonable in terms of having a grant in hand for them to share with the FAA, and something closer to L-30 days is acceptable (in this case, we are targeting an April 1, 2024 launch date, so March 1, 2024). We of course would appreciate receiving something sooner.

Orbit Profile: Acadia 4 will deploy from the launch vehicle into a near-circular inclined
orbit at an altitude between 590 km and 590 km, at an inclination between 43 and 45
degrees. It will maintain an altitude between 610 and 550 km using a Hall Effect propulsion
system for a maximum of 3 years of operational mission.

2. Spacecraft Description
Physical Description of the Spacecraft: The Acadia 4 satellite has a nominal launch mass
between 160 kg and 180 kg. Two 1.25 m2 deployable solar arrays, a 10 m2 deployable antenna
and a 3m long boom deploy from the principal bus structure.

Pursuant to Section 25.120 of the Commission’s Rules, ATLAS Space Operations, Inc (ATLAS) requests Special
Temporary Authority (STA) for sixty (60) days or until a fixed license is granted, commencing April 3, 2024 for
the operation of our satellite earth station in Guam (call sign E190037) to communicate with the first four of
the non-GSO Tomorrow.io (call sign S3156) satellites. This request is of a temporary nature to cover the period
of time between the anticipated launch of these satellites on April 3, 2024 and the outcome of the pending
ATLAS site license modification (SES-MOD-20230801-01927) that was submitted on August 1, 2023 to include
these first four spacecraft (referred to as TMS 1-4 in the MOD application) at our Guam earth station. Pending a
decision on this modification, ATLAS is requesting this STA to allow TT&C and payload support to meet the
customer expected launch date of April 3, 2024.

India’s First Private Sector-Produced Military Satellite Set for SpaceX Launch
Quote
The satellite, crafted by Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL) in collaboration with the Latin American firm Satellogic, is expected to be launched by April. Upon completion of the satellite, TASL transported it internationally to its launch site, ushering in a new era of domestic defense development. Steered by a soon-to-be-finalized ground control center in Bengaluru, this satellite empowers India with a sovereign eye in the sky, capable of capturing images with a resolution of 0.5 meters.

I've seen a couple stories saying TSAT-1A is a radar satellite, which looks to me like one site got very confused and then other sites started copying it.  As far as I can tell it's optical.

Also, does the Project 425 satellite place restrictions on which pad (KSC vs CCSFS) can or cannot be used (because it's a ROK military satellite)?

(I know that foreign military satellites have often been launched from Florida and Vandenberg.)

Ben Cooper's Launch Photography Viewing Guide; updated March 28 before NROL-70 launch; my bold:
Quote
The next SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will launch the Eutelsat 36D television satellite from pad 39A on March 30 at 5:52-8:00 p.m. EDT. A Falcon 9 will launch a Starlink batch from pad 40 on March 30 earliest at 6-10 p.m. EDT. A Falcon 9 will launch a Starlink batch from pad 40 on April 5 around 5-9 p.m. EDT. Upcoming launches include more Starlink batches. A Falcon 9 will launch the Bandwagon-1 rideshare mission on April 7.
Noting the return of the April 7 launch date, but time not mentioned.  Launch time would change as Bandwagon does not launch to SSO.  Also, launch pad is not yet given.

Extrapolating from the launch time on April 3, 17:24 UTC, forward four days, launch time would be circa 16:00 UTC = ~12:00 noon EDT.

Which first stage will be used for this launch?
(semi-rhetorical question)

Falcon 9 first stages are now apparently cleared for use up to twenty times for non-crewed launches, although that number is apparently more restricted for Cargo Dragon or Cygnus than these other payloads.

1064.6 and 1065.6 are the Falcon Heavy side boosters for Europa Clipper.  1072.1 and 1086.1 are assigned as the Falcon Heavy side boosters for GOES-U.

1073.14 and 1076.13 may undergo modifications to become Falcon Heavy side boosters for a future launch, but both are currently available for "single-stick" launches.

Available first stages, with UTC date of most recent recovery:
1069.14  Feb 25  Starlink 6-47
1083.2    Mar 4    (Save for a crewed or ISS cargo mission?  Or a Galileo pair?)
1073.14  Mar 4
1077.12  Mar 10
1062.20  Mar 16  (maybe)

Edit April 5: It's B1073.14, skipping over B1083.2.

Quote
The next SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will launch a Starlink batch from pad 40 on April 5 around 2-6 a.m. EDT. A Falcon 9 will launch the Bandwagon-1 rideshare mission on April 7 at 7:17 p.m. EDT. The first stage will land back at the Cape about eight minutes after launch. Upcoming launches include more Starlink batches. A Falcon 9 will launch two Galileo navigation system satellites for Europe on late April.

For some reason, there's no mention of the launch pad for this launch.

In response to inquiries from the Space Bureau, HawkEye 360, Inc. (“HE360”) submits this letter providing additional information about the deployment parameters for the Cluster 8 and 9 satellites. Specifically, the satellites are expected to be deployed into a nominal 590 km (+/- 20 km) circular orbit with an inclination between 45° and 46°.

I don't see where Sidus ever filed with the FCC to change the orbits from SSO, their license hasn't been granted, and they've only filed experimental permits for the first sat.

NGA Rocket Launching notice.

Map from the NGA notice. Fairing halves / failed boostback burn splashdowns some 490km downrange.

EDIT:

An NGA Space Debris notice that I think is for this launch ...

Extrapolating to the southernmost latitude, the orbital inclination is about 46.2°, which is not far from the expected 45.4° inclination.

And now there's a cancel-and-replace for the NGA Rocket Launching notice.

My guess is that the changes to the hazard period do not reflect a change to the launch time, but rather reduce the amount of time between the start of the hazard period and the launch time.

SpaceX is targeting Sunday, April 7 at 7:16 p.m. ET for a Falcon 9 launch of the Bandwagon-1 mission to orbit from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. If needed, there is a backup opportunity on Monday, April 8 at the same time.

A live webcast of this mission will begin on X @SpaceX about 10 minutes prior to liftoff. Watch live.

On board this mission are 11 spacecraft including KOREA's 425Sat, HawkEye 360’s Clusters 8 & 9, Tyvak International’s CENTAURI-6, iQPS’s QPS-SAR-7 TSUKUYOMI-II, Capella Space’s Capella-14, and Tata Advanced Systems Limited’s TSAT-1A.

This will be the 14th flight of the first stage booster supporting this mission, which previously launched SES-22, ispace's HAKUTO-R MISSION 1, Amazonas-6, CRS-27, and nine Starlink missions. (=B1073-14) Following stage separation, the first stage will land on Landing Zone 1 (LZ-1) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

Falcon 9 from the Air Boss Tower at the Sun n Fun Aerospace Expo in Lakeland, FL. https://flysnf.org/

In image 1/2 you can barely make out the bright light of the plume, we could easily see it and the reentry burn even though it barely came out in my phone pics.

If you look close in 4 you can see four of the Ghost Squadron's L-39s taxiing out for a practice just after launch, along with the Falcon's contrail just to the left of the center person's hat.

The QPS-SAR No. 7 "TSUKYOMI-II" was successfully put into orbit at 10:02 (JST) by SpaceX Falcon 9. Thank you very much to everyone who supported us!

We are now pleased to announce that approximately one hour later, the first communication with Tsukuyomi-II was successfully completed.
After this, we will make some adjustments, deploy the antenna, and aim to acquire the first images 😊

Bandwagon-1 is SpaceX's first dedicated rideshare mission launching to a mid-inclination orbit. While our Transporter rideshare missions launch to a sun-synchronous orbit, launching to a mid-inclination orbit fills in the gaps for our customers that wish to expand their coverage or complete unique objectives

Quote
Mid-inclination orbit offers a higher revisit rate, meaning the time between flyovers of the same point is faster than what is seen with other orbits

Quote
Rideshare missions significantly increase access to space for small satellite operators around the world. To date, SpaceX has launched nearly 1,000 smallsats for 130+ customers across our entire Rideshare program. Join an upcoming mission → spacex.com/rideshare

First satellite of Korea “425 Project” constellation successfully launched

APR 8 2024

A “dancing satellite”, part of a future constellation offering high performance and short revisit

The first Synthetic Aperture Radar satellite of Korea 425 Project constellation was successfully launched aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral, Florida, on the evening of 7th, April 2024.

Thales Alenia Space's contribution to this program, developed in cooperation with Korean Aerospace Industries (KAI) and Hanwha Systems Corporation (HSC), for the Korean Agency for Defence and Development (ADD) as the prime developer, goes beyond the engineering support provided during the critical phases of the End-to-End System and Satellite System projects.

Our contribution extends to the supply of our high-performance Synthetic Aperture RADAR (SAR) that utilizes an innovative antenna consisting of a Large deployable reflector with 24 deployable petals and an active phased array feed array in dual polarization. Another significant part of our contribution is the acquisition, storage, and data retransmission system on the ground. The high agility of the “dancing satellite” is guarantee by the innovative avionics and Control Momentum Gyroscope, also provided by Thales Alenia Space. These advanced technologies enable high-performance observation and surveillance capabilities, critical to the success of the program.

“I am delighted with the successful launch of the first satellite of Korea 425 Project constellation, confirming Thales Alenia Space’s long-standing expertise in the design, development and construction of Earth observation satellites.” said Massimo Comparini, Deputy CEO and Senior Executive Vice President, Observation, Exploration and Navigation at Thales Alenia Space. “As we celebrate this inaugural launch, our attention remains fixed on the horizon, where several milestones await us over the next year: from the meticulous calibration and in-orbit acceptance of the first satellite, to the eagerly awaited launch of the second one, to the completion of rigorous testing for the third and fourth satellites Our company is ready to support our Korean partners. Each step forward is not only a mark of progress, but a testimony of our unwavering commitment to excellence and the limitless potential that lies ahead as well.”

Thales Alenia Space’s involvement in the 425 Project strengthens its fruitful collaboration with South Korea for space programs, including the KOMPSAT-5 observation project, the Koreasat family of telecommunication satellites, GEO-KOMPSAT-2, and KASS satellite navigation system, that was certified by national authorities and entered operational service recently.

That's four missions that wont be launched by Rocket Lab, Bandwagon must be putting a dent in their business model.

APRIL 8, 2024

Tata Advanced Systems Limited and Satellogic Announce TSAT-1A Satellite Launch Success
Built in India, the First Sub-meter Resolution Optical Satellite Reaches Orbit

New York, NY, USA and Mumbai, India, April 8, 2024 – Tata Advanced Systems Limited (“TASL”), India’s leading private sector player for aerospace and defense solutions, and Satellogic Inc. (NASDAQ: SATL) (“Satellogic”), a leader in sub-meter resolution Earth Observation (“EO”) data collection, today announced the successful deployment into space of TASL’s TSAT-1A satellite aboard the Bandwagon-1 mission, which SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket launched from Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center, Florida, USA, at 23:16 UTC on April 7, 2024.

TSAT-1A has been assembled in TASL’s Assembly, Integration and Testing (“AIT”) plant at its Vemagal facility in Karnataka. This achievement follows the collaboration signed between TASL and Satellogic in November 2023, leveraging Satellogic’s expertise to develop and integrate an advanced EO satellite in India and TASL’s capability to undertake complex system integration.

Sukaran Singh, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, TASL, said, “This milestone shows  TASL’s commitment to the space sector. This is a first step. Our partnership with Satellogic has enabled us to deliver an assembled and tested in India, best-in-class, fully integrated sub-meter optical satellite which was launched aboard SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket for the Bandwagon-1 mission. We are grateful for the support we have received from various Indian Government authorities for required permissions.”

TSAT-1A will deliver high-resolution optical satellite images with increased collection capacity, dynamic range, and low-latency delivery through its multispectral and hyperspectral capabilities.

“Congratulations to both teams on the efficient collaboration that brought TSAT-1A to life and ready for launch,” commented Emiliano Kargieman, CEO at Satellogic. “This illustrates the flexibility of Satellogic’s Space Systems program, offering governments and enterprises the ability to tailor a proven satellite model for their specific needs, and reach orbit within a favorable timeframe.”

Satellogic provided industry knowledge transfer, foundational components, IP licensing terms, and support in constructing an AIT facility in India – features of its Space Systems offering for direct satellite sales.
