I've given Chris Gebhardt's previous Zuma article a big update based on latest status, etc. And also to revamp it into the new NSF news site style (all images changed, etc.)

Since someone asked in the discussion thread and I went looking, here is the L-2 forecast.

Basically, it's obvious Friday is off, but it's still on the pad this morning and there's claims there may be another WDR taking place right now.

Working on it (the info). Will see if SpaceX will say something. Zuma Rules make this hard.

In summary, Zuma is going to be NET Saturday (I say "going to be" as it has to be officially noted in public by SpaceX or the Range). Delays likely related to upper level winds predictions. Rocket is fine. Delay allowing for on pad test opportunities.

TEL is definitely up at LC-40 with word ZUMA [F9] is still on the pad. As @NASASpaceflight said, possibly to do some on pad testing in the unique cold weather situation we currently have on the Space Coast. Not the best view from US1 with the angle of the sun today.

They seem in no hurry to move:

Fits with the latest potential this could be going to NET Sunday. (But not official). Stick with NET Saturday for now.

(That's an update, by the way) :)

@SpaceX Team at the Cape completed additional propellant loading tests today. Extreme weather slowed operations but Falcon 9 and the Zuma spacecraft are healthy and go for launch—now targeting January 7 from Pad 40 in Florida.

Offline Chris Bergin

Still on the pad. That's still fine for Sunday, but I would expect to hear about a rollback to the HIF in the coming hours.

#Zuma's #Falcon9 booster is still on #Pad40 now at 1230 PM EST 1/5. Rather surprising given @SpaceX intends Sun 1/7 8 PM launch since the classified govt payload still needs sufficient mating/processing time. Cred: @ken_kremer  SpaceUpClose.com  #SpaceUpClose

It might now be back horizontal. Will need picture confirmation:

The #Zuma booster was vertical until about an hour and a half ago. It is no longer visible from the tour route. Was on the wrong side of the bus for pics of SLC 40.  @NASASpaceflight
