Peggy has removed the MDM to realign. She notes a couple bits of FOD releasing from the unit upon removal.

Whitson is inspecting the bolt threads for damage. She noted about a half dozen bits of metal shavings floating off earlier. FOD on the main bolt mounting area.

Peggy will clean the receptacle area on the truss before making another attempt. Jack will head to the airlock to retrieve the cleaning tools.

Peggy embedded into the truss. The cleaning kit includes a nitrogen cartridge that will blow into the bolt holes.
I'm always reminded of Mike Suffredini's comment to a suggestion during a press conference about vacuuming debris from the SARJ in a vacuum.
