SpaceX doesn't stop for a silly thing like night, they are still working. The chopsticks assembly was lifter by a foot or so which surprises me as I wouldn't expect an operator in the crane at midnight local time.
-
A busy night for work crews on chopsticks and carriage. Screenshot from LabPadre this morning shows that all skates have been connected to carriage, and skates have been unhooked from chain hoists on tower (red arrows in pic).
Also, chopstick assembly has been lowered to rest on support platform at base of tower (yellow arrow). Possibility of lifting slings coming off soon.
Edit: It also looks like they are wasting no time in removing the temporary support structure next to the launch pad.

Side by side attached.
Also per the 200-300mb of hi res photos that were uploaded into here, we did warn people that we could not continue to allow mass hotlinking on Reddit, etc. Also the amount of harvesting by Twitter folk (usually removing the watermark and @elon clout chasing, heh) minutes after the uploads were getting worse by the week. So we're now uploading the full sets of both Mary and Nic into a dedicated L2 thread, and then the selection (as previous) that fit the video go into the daily vid.
If an engineering thread requires a specific hi-res photo of the mount or something then it can be requested and we'll upload it.

Obvious reminder that accredited screenshots are one thing, but pulling a 5mb gif from another site, created by a member of that other site, and then attaching (hosting) it here is just plain wrong on copyright alone, so one post trimmed. We wouldn't want that done to us, so we don't do it to others.

It seems we have some more interesting design changes that are coming to Starship fairly soon! Today, Mary caught an interesting photo of what we have tracked as Ship 26’s common dome sleeve sitting in the dome yard. (1/6)
📸: @BocaChicaGal for NSF
Notably, there are internal stringers on the LOX tank side of this section (it’s currently upside down), indicating that SpaceX is adding these for increased strength and rigidity in the LOX tank. (2/6)
📸: @BocaChicaGal for NSF
It’s always fun to see a design change happen clearly in front of us, but this change allowed us to connect it to something odd that recently happened… On June 10th, what we believed was a CH4 section for Booster 9 oddly moved to Tent 3. (3/6)
This differs from what we usually observe for Booster production, so we knew something was up. By seeing this new Common Sleeve with stringers today, this section now in Tent 3 revealed itself to be Ship 26’s Mid-LOX section. (4/6)
📸: @RGVaerialphotos
All Mid-LOX sections S25 and below were rather plain sections with no internal stringers. In this photo, you can see S25’s Mid-LOX section with only a hatch and some tiles, which led to the misidentification of S26’s Mid-LOX (5/6).
📸: @LabPadre
So there we have it. It seems that Ship 26 will be receiving yet another set of upgrades that have been right in front of us for literally a month. Well, hopefully we get to see some more interesting changes show up in the near future! (6/6)
https://twitter.com/Alexphysics13/status/1536667608124203009
Yep. Ship 26 and Booster 9 is the next iteration or "block upgrade" for Starship. This one I have understood contains minor upgrades for the Ship and some uhhh cosmetic changes for the booster, let's put it that way.
After this, Ship 29 and Booster 12 are the next pair of vehicles that are supposed to get an upgrade. While I'm not aware - yet - of the changes for the ship, the booster will see performance improvements. Always plan a few steps away
It's also totally possible that these changes eventually happen a few boosters or ships up and down as the flow of work at Starbase continues and some upgrades are moved up and down the chain but, so far, that's been the plan
