I have heard that Playalinda Beach was severely damaged by Hurricane Nicole. It may not be open for a while for launches.

Hi there, we are planning to be in Florida from 17.6. to 27.6. for F9 Satria mission and hopefully as a bonus Delta IV Heavy NROL-68 . As we will travel half a round the globe from Europe, do you have some tips and advice where to stay to get best possible view :-) . Thank you a lot!

regarding launch viewing, Ben Cooper's website is a great resource, it's updated very frequently and he lists lots of great places to view launches from

Bad news, everybody... The excellent viewing area at the end of SR 401, just outside the CCSFS gates, is being shut down. It's been almost 5 years since they stopped allowing people to park on the shoulder of 401, but these bleachers gave excellent views of vehicles on the pad, and were about the closest the general public could get to the landing zones.

Hi All,

Love rocket launches and heading to orlando on the 4th of november.
Never been able to see a launch in person but would be super thrilled to see this in person. fingers crossed this is still an RTSL.

Where would people recomend, ive had a quickly look but havent seen anything that is 100% open and also populated / safe.

NSF's own photog team provides the latest advice, including mention of sites that don't work anymore:

PSA #1: EST does NOT mean "Eastern Time".  Use "Eastern" or "ET" instead, all year round, and avoid this common error.  Google "EST vs EDT".
PSA #2: It's and its: know the difference and quietly impress grammar pedants.  Google "angry flower its" .  *** See profile for two more NSF forum tips. ***
