Quote
With Super Heavy progressing toward testing, there remains the distinct possibility the vehicle could be conducting more ambitious test flights before the Space Launch System (SLS) conducts its maiden launch, which is currently expected to be late in 2021.
However, it unlikely to be a race between the two monster rockets

Momentus Awarded NASA TROPICS Pathfinder Mission

Looks like this contract has a value of $112k to launch a 3U cubesat.
Quote
SANTA CLARA, Calif. (PRWEB) September 04, 2020

Momentus (http://www.momentus.space), provider of in-space transportation services for satellites, today announced a service agreement with NASA to transport the TROPICS Pathfinder CubeSat to low earth orbit (LEO) no later than June 30 2021. The TROPICS Pathfinder CubeSat in the Planetary System Corporation 3U Canisterized Satellite Dispenser will be integrated onto Momentus’ Vigoride transfer vehicle currently scheduled to launch on a SpaceX Falcon-9 dedicated rideshare mission.
NASA selected the Time-Resolved Observations of Precipitation structure and storm Intensity with a Constellation of Smallsats (TROPICS) constellation mission as part of its Earth Venture Instrument-3 (EVI-3) element. NASA’s Earth System Science Pathfinder (ESSP) Program Office approved the separate TROPICS Pathfinder mission to launch in advance of the TROPICS constellation mission as a technology demonstration and risk reduction effort. The TROPICS Pathfinder mission will permit the checkout and optimization of all mission elements prior to the primary constellation mission.

NASA/KSC plans to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Time-Resolved Observations of Precipitation Structure and Storm Intensity with a Constellation of Smallsats (TROPICS) Mission Launch Services contract.  Previous notice regarding TROPICS was the Draft Request for Proposal (80KSC020R0036).

The TROPICS contract will be limited to Contractors from the United States launch vehicle/services industry pursuant to the Public Law 105‐303, Title II, Section 201; the United States National Space Transportation Policy, dated November 21, 2013.  The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 481212 and 1,500 employees, respectively.  The anticipated release date of the RFP is on or about July 31, 2020, with an anticipated proposal due date on or about August 31, 2020.

It is anticipated TROPICS will award a firm-fixed price contract for Launch services to place the TROPICS satellite constellation three low-Earth orbital planes with two CubeSats in each plane.  NASA will have sole responsibility for the payloads on the launch vehicles.  In order to meet science objectives, all CubeSats must launch within a window of 120 days.

That satellite should still launch by the end of 2021, he said, but lacks a more specific launch date until the payload shipment.
