The name of the payload for the upcoming third SQX-1 launch is given as Tianshu at Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_spaceflight_launches_in_July%E2%80%93December_2021#July).

(spaceflight.cn)

The site for the reference is correct date wise but is updated to no longer state a payload.

My opinion:
Tianshu, a work of art, could be a secondary payload, but I doubt it would be the primary or sole payload.

Also, one could choose to name a satellite after a work of art.  (But that does not mean the work of art IS the payload.)

We shall see.

Cross-post:
Spaceflightfans.cn <snip>
Shuang Quxian-1 (Y5) on July 20 (TBD)
<snip>

Launch date is now listed as circa July 10, same web site--no payload announced.

Previous orbital launch threads for this vehicle:
SQX-1 maiden flight July 25, 2019, with multiple payloads
Failed SQX-1 flight on February 1, 2021, with an unknown payload or payloads
The cited link now states that the SQX-1/Hyperbola-1 launch is now scheduled for July 31.

A fellow Chinese rocket launch photographer is reporting that this launch will happen very soon (and he's unable to attend), one comment below saying that will happen tomorrow.

No air space closure notices to back this up yet.

Eh, well, it looks like there are multiple rumors that the Hyperbola-1 has failed again (like this sigh from the photographer I named above: https://m.weibo.cn/detail/4666137419978409)

I don't know if they are better off going straight to their, uh, reusable methane/LOX Hyperbola-2...  ::)

There.seems to be conflicting reports of the outcome up front at this time (see e.g. https://m.weibo.cn/detail/4666146413087352).
