I'm very nervous about all of this.

Great article on the Buzz man, he's a true hero and a great man. Speaking of which, Leroy Cain. Wow. What a great day this will be for him to bring a Shuttle home.

If you hear bangs in the morning, it's not terrorists, it's Discovery :)

I know what you mean Franson. I don't think I'll ever take a re-entry for granted again.

Breaking news. Discovery surveys defeated Aussies from 220 miles up ;)

I've written a script for ITV News so if that gets on I'll try and tape it to the PC and stick it on here.

Here we go, download the clip...

I missed the first few seconds of it, and reduced the quality to allow for easier downloads, but he did well to read off my script, although he seemed to think Lockheed Martin and Boeing are three different companies ;)

So very cool to know that you wrote this. I didn't know that's how it works, but I suppose it would take a lot longer for the news channels to write these things up.

Chris, I think you should make the forum for users only, cause we get so many guests who don't contribute to the site at all.

KSC give good weather for landing. Only scattered clouds at 25,000 feet, clear below. Edwards is clear too, just in case.

About 10 hours till landing. I wonder how good the coverage by way of images and videos will be this time. Rumour was that a cockpit ciew camera will show the pure speed of re-entry?
Let's go and explore space.

I know there's more images and video to come this time, but as far as from the cockpit, I doubt it and it wouldn't be live.

I'll be going over to see her arrive with my Columbia Recovery Hat on. Just feels apt.

I think we'll all be having a few thoughts about Columbia and her crew tomorrow.
