Pretty unlucky. Heavy fog rolled in like 15 min before countdown

Yea, the fog has been in and out.  But NVS states that once the rocket clears the low lying fog there will be good visibility.

It's getting late here on the west coast of US, I'm dropping off.  The launch will be an another 3 hours or so.  Hopefully, one of our member's in Australia can pick this up.

Here's the current view. Three hours and five minutes until the window opens. I'll report back then.

According to this quick summary here, they had a little wayward boat issue of their own to compound the problems

http://www3.nhk.or.jp/news/html/20170730/k10011080591000.html

Quote
The rocket was scheduled to be launched at around 6:30 a.m., but since a number of troubles were found in valves of liquid oxygen tank etc, work continued with the aim of launch until 0:30 pm.

However, it was decided that safety could not be secured because a ship entered the warning area on the sea, and it was decided to aim the launch after 3:45 pm.

fingers crossed for next attempt

To ensure the security of the sea, change the scheduled launch time to 16:30. This time may be around. The process of filling in liquid oxygen continues.

Looks like there was another ship in keepout zone, causing the 16:15 to 16:30 delay.
