My browser is offering a rss feed of the frontpage news articles. Also, every thread I see can be subscribed via RSS, as far as I can see.

What did the old feed offer that the current RSS implementation does not?

Hi Chris. Sorry don't know where to put this. Did Tapatalk ever get installed on the site?

That'll be live when the new forum is live.

Speaking of which, if there's anyone who reads this that is well versed in SMF, please PM me.

Hello.  Is there link that can be subscribed to in an RSS reader to see the updates of a specific forum thread?
Thanks.

Not that I've been able to find - only via e-mail.

There is a site-wide feed (not to be confused with the news feed), but it only gives you a snippet from the start of each post, so again not what you're looking for:-

We'll aim to get a RSS for the forum live when we get around to installing the new forum. We have the template and such ready to go, but finding someone able to work in SMF to dedicate some time to it is a real battle.

I'll be working on pushing that forward this week.

Pulse which is an RSS reader seems to pick up your news articles OK.

Some savvy person could perhaps (??) build an RSS feed using "if this then that" (ifttt.com) functionality. They probably would need to know both RSS and mail stuff.

We have a RSS feeder for the news site, always have. The question was about the forum, which is a completely different format, etc.
