Any one know how fire resistance are the deployable escape chutes installed by SpaceX at pad SLC-40?
A quick look at CoTS options suggests 600C to 1100C are achievable. As these are used on oil and gas rigs, being able to handle large volume flammable fluid and gas fires is an existing design requirement.
