We have a new Metal Structure going up in front of the flat long tent
(second picture from original quote)

looks a bit smaller, than the "GROUND FABRICATION"-Building, but constructed in similar style.

A few more pics taken at the build site. A new building going up out back.
I'm sure you already know, but those tent sections are exactly 15 feet.
Those who danced were thought to be quite insane by those who couldn't hear the music.

Thanks nomadd! That really helps a lot.

So it should be 45 ft (~14m) long ?
And how much would be the width of the new building? I would guess it is 30 - 40 ft ?

Is it placed on a concrete pad?
Is it closer to the old concrete ring-structures or closer to the flat long tooling tent? It's hard to see, without having a panorama view or at least two to three pictures with different angles. :)

found the dimensions in the other thread with nice pictures from different angles!
Thanks!

It looks like the new building is about 42 feet wide and 90 feet long.

I walked past the building width wise and lined up the ends with the tent sections for that and used the SN2 tank, which was very close to the distance of the building to the camera for length.

I hope you already know this Nomadd, but your measurement estimates are an amazing skill.  Clearly a cut above most lay-person "guesstimates."

Paperwork designation of the new building is  "Weld Development Building".

Quote
Start Date:
5/6/2020
Completion Date:
6/11/2020
Estimated Cost:
$250,000
Type of Work:
New Construction
Type of Funds:
This project is privately funded, on private land for private use.
Scope of Work:
This building is a pre-engineered metal building that will be used for testing new welding practices.
Square Footage:
3,600 ft 2

https://www.tdlr.texas.gov/TABS/Search/Project/TABS2020017483

Edit, there is another registration: "Permanent Bathroom Buildings", https://www.tdlr.texas.gov/TABS/Projects/TABS2020017481
So the new building is either a welding dev facility or a giant bathroom :) But matching registred footprint area with Nomadds measurements I guess the bathroom should be something else.

Actually, if their paperwork fillings are correct, Nomadd was wrong.

By 2 feet :)

You're lucky I didn't use cubits.

Considering half of Boca Chica is submerged...

How long can you tread water?

Depends on the century, where you were in the world and whether you are royalty or not, but the common cubit was the length of the arm from the elbow to the tip of the middle finger.  The 'average' value used (mostly) about 18 inches (ish)
Be careful what you wish for.  You may get it

For those of you who are unfamiliar with American comedy of the 1960s, the "cubit" "voobah" and "tread water" references are from an old Bill Cosby routine about Noah and the ark.  Now back to your regularly scheduled programming ...

Here is a side by side comparison of the assembly sites of BOCA CHICA and ROBERTS ROAD.

in Labpadre's latest flyover there appears to be a very big footing going in next to the Star Gate facility. It is in the bottom of the image below.  HB2 or just another steel building? Any guesses?
