It passed our tour bus today and I got this gorgeous video!

Now that one shows Cape Canaveral....unless it's the road on the way to KSC. Or perhaps they are doing an overnight at the Cape? It's not like we can ask too many questions when a stage is moving for security reasons.

KSC guys said they saw the HIF doors open, but that could be just them opening the doors for any reason.

LC-39 is basically on the Cape.  The road on the port goes through the Cape directly to LC-39

It's on the road next to Port Canaveral, passing Poseidon Ave traffic lights. This is moments after they attached the tow truck to the front of the transporter.

So this is answered elsewhere, I have missed it along the way ...

What are the "skylight boxes" on stage beanie cap? Do we know? Anyone care to speculate?

Receivers, batteries and controls for remotely connecting the beanie cap to the stage.  There was no manlift on the barge nor cable from the ground to the beanie cap

The boxes on the beanie hat are the avionics packages that control the stage

Remember guys, these stockholder images open the right way up. Just save them or open in a new window. Totally worth it for all the detail!

As others have indicated, these look to me like control boxes for the mechanisms that attach the lifting cap to the top of the stage.  You can see the cables connected to them, and I wonder if the apparent reflective top areas are solar cells for powering the boxes?  I also noticed the chain drive mechanism just below the lift point which I assume is for rotating the cap into position.

Edit - Forgot to thank StockHolder for the picture I re-posted, and all the others which gave us all the views in detail!

Also forgot to mention the three white cylinders protruding from the legs of the lifting cap which look like sensors for use in alignment.
