Take On Mars places you in the seat of a Rover Operator, allowing you to control the various, fully simulated mobile Rovers and stationary Landers. With this scientific arsenal at your disposal, you will work your way through the numerous Science Missions in each location, unlocking the secrets of Mars' distant past.

Trailer:

From Bohemia Interactive, who are a simulation and realism-oriented studio, so don't have any fears of Mars' distant past being full of angry bug-eyed aliens :) The graphics appear to be completely faithful reproductions of the Martian landscape and robotic hardware. Looks interesting!

Wow, that looks like a very fun game, probably no match for Kerbal Space Program, but it looks like something I would play (a lot :D ), I would love to see a human spaceflight version too, and hopefully it will inspire young people too.  :)

Bohemia usually is also very game-content-customization friendly.  So this could be as good a platform for quality content additions as e.g. Celestia, Orbiter, KSP.

I like the glimpse of a Soviet Mars lander at 40 seconds.  Whether this means you can simulate historic missions or discover historic artefacts I don't know. But it's good to see.
Apologies in advance for any lack of civility - it's unintended

Probably worth mentioning that there is another game with a high emphasis on Martian exploration... can be found at:
