Israel's OptSat-3000 Platform
« on: 02/23/2009 07:53 am »
In 2007 IAI displayed the new OptSat-3000 (sometimes referred to as OpSat-3000) at the Paris Air Show.

Were there any figures available concerning the satellite's mass. physical size or when it can be expected to be launched?

The available photos show that the platform was not used on Ofeq 7 which was launched at the time of the 2007 Paris show and on another thread it was indicated that Ofeq 8 would not use the platform - I would guess that Ofeq 8 is due in the last six months of this year or maybe early next year.
I've always been crazy but it's kept me from going insane - WJ.
