Thar she blows! After an unplanned working vacation in the Bahamas, the @SpaceX droneship A Shortfall of Gravitas (ASOG) is in the Port Canaveral entrance channel. Booster B-1073 standing straight on deck. The tug Kurt J Crosby has the tow duty. Welcome back! 👍🏻🚀⛴

I might be missing it, but looks like Octograbber isn't in play and B1073 is sitting a little low.  I wonder if this was one of the lessons learned from past recoveries in rough seas.

It looks as if the turn-buckles/rigging screws are welded to the deck (you can't see, but how else could they be attached). And sure the booster is much lower. I can imagine they removed Octograbber and did this to make it safer for the long time at sea with the expectation of rough weather, or just of larger swells. Its something you do at sea... lash everything own if there is a risk of difficult conditions.

SpaceX tried to install the lifting cap on B1073 at Port Canaveral earlier then lowered it, appearing to struggle.

Two workers now lifted to the top of Falcon 9 and peering down the interstage 🤔

B1073 has gone horizontal at Port Canaveral after it’s fourth flight. This booster will support the next NASA/SpaceX crewed (Crew-6) mission targeted for early next year.

Phew, Space Coast Live is gonna give me a lot of work spotting boosters if they keep launching like this. Just a few minutes ago another Falcon 9 booster passed by the VAB at KSC, likely to be B1069-3 for Hotbird 13F launch next week from SLC-40.
