NASA SETS NEWS CONFERENCE WITH SHUTTLE AND SPACE STATION CREWS

HOUSTON -- The 12 crew members aboard space shuttle Discovery and the
International Space Station will hold a news conference starting at
9:48 a.m. CST on Friday, March 4. Reporters may ask questions in
person from NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston, Kennedy Space
Center in Florida and agency headquarters in Washington.

To participate, U.S. journalists must call the public affairs office
at one of the three venues by 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 3. Reporters
at Johnson, not already credentialed for the STS-133 mission, must
request access badges by March 3. Reporters must be in place at least
20 minutes before the news conference.

NASA Television will provide live coverage of the 40-minute news
conference. Part of the conference will be for European Space Agency
media outlets in native languages. An interpreted replay will air on
NASA TV at 11 a.m. For NASA TV downlink, schedule and streaming video

sounds like Al is having an issue with a connector, SSRMS go to GCA the arm

12 minutes to go in this ZOE pass, 23 minutes to sunrise as the complex moves SE over the Indian Ocean south of India.

Al is working on installing a light on the CETA cart, PET 3:23, having a few issues installing it.

Shuttle KU is only available through TDRS-Z right now as we are still in the ZOE for the next 5 minutes for so, then West comm coverage will be available again with ISS KU resuming 10-15 minutes after that.

brakes are now on the SSRMS so Bowen can remove the APFR and WIF adapter, done, want go take the arm to the back off position

A slide on the lights from the 133 EVA FRR presentation (L2)....there's slides for everything on these EVAs, so I'll add a few more as we go.

Al is mating some power and data connectors to the lights, loss of KU momentarily with TDRS-Z due to station blockage of the signal, now back in West comm coverage area, ISS KU should resume in the next 15 minutes or so.

sunrise is in 9 minutes, Steve will now place len covers over the SSRMS cameras next.

orbit 2 has taken over as orbit 1 leaves console (PAO shift gave it away)

Grond considering shifting some tasks from Al to Steve at the end

Ku returns along with WVS at night

ISS KU is through West, the complex is moving SE near Australia, 30 seconds to sunrise.
