As requested by some non L2 members who noticed it on the L2 ticker advert - and as we did with the Camcorder re-entry videos - we've created a lower res edited version of the 50 minute All Access Video we've been very fortunate to acquire for L2 - which is where it is hosted.

So yes, this is a trailer, but it's also a free video to at least give people a sneaky look

(Thanks to Steve (Ford Mustang) for the editing skills on the trailer).

The L2 video is 1.9gb (1,900 mb), continuous filming, and high quality.

Yes, it's her, with another stack in the other HB, and Atlantis in the OPF. Best video ever for Shuttle fans wanting to be an engineer for a day, nothing need more be said.

You know, that thought had never crossed my mind either, but it's always amazing to think how big it actually is. Sure, it seems big in volume of course, but that's partially due to its height. After touring KSC, I have to say it looks much bigger in person than in pictures.

At 525 feet tall, it's the same height as our city's only "skyscraper."

I prefer when they walk into the OPF and keep the camera running. Always wanted to imagine what it's like to go to work there

Everything is still available...We don't purge/delete anything on L2.

Thank you for this. Columbia was my favorite orbiter and seeing her in VAB processing like this brough a tear to my eye.

She was the best. I was thinking of this video just now as the VAB part of the tour takes place about this time in Endeavour's processing, as she'll of just been moved over to the ET and boosters.

Notice how all the engineers are looking at Atlantis and not Ares I-X

Where's the camera? You can rotate it to the floor and not even a shadow.

Is the shuttle program under ITAR? If so, how is this video not a non-conformance?

Doubt it. An English reporter for ITN news (UK) was in there for the 40th anniversary of Apollo the other year. Was next to one of the orbiters and in the VAB.

There are strict controls for all, anywhere, with an exception being the press members at the press site. If you aren't at the press site and are at a media event, you are escorted by a media escort, and are allowed at a certain location - and you can get your credentials pulled if you go outside those limits. You just have to be careful.

That's for both foreign and US media. It's just how things go. You can request certain access, but there's no guarantee you get them.

(For "All, Anywhere", that means there are limits on what you can let out, what you can do, of course that's for anything you do, really.. but speaking about this, I'm betting there are harsh consequences if something leaks out that shouldn't.)
