Pressure fed engines? That's a lot of gas bottles for a small diameter vehicle.

SPACE-PIONEER recently conducted gas generator test of the TH-12 kerolox engine, to power the reusable Tianlong-3 rocket. TH-12 is designed to produce 110t thrust at sea level, with 335s Isp in vacuum & 40-110% throttling. A full engine has been assembled for static fire soon..

*It seems the engine is using a staged combustion cycle, so calling it a "pre-burner test" is more appropriate.

An engine similar to CASC's YF-100..

SPACE-PIONEER recently conducted stage separation and hot fire test of the upper (3rd) stage, including attitude control system, of medium-lift Tianlong-2. One more step closer to the maiden launch.

and vibration test too.

Closer look of Tianlong-2's upper stage.

Chinese firms are usually not as transparent as the ones of other places, but SPACE-PIONEER is definitely one of the most secret. We don't even know the specifications of Tianlong-2, although it seems getting close to its first launch.

SPACE-PIONEER's National Day post shows the first Tianlong-2 is named "Zhangjiagang", the city where SPACE-PIONEER is building a manufacturing base..

🔥Space-Pioneer test fires the first stage of Tianlong-2. Still not very clear what engines used except for the kerosene fuel, but it seems there are 3, so each with 65t thrust as the total liftoff thrust is 190t.

Looks like Y1 has 3 engine first stage. I guess the reusable version will debut the 7 engine first stage.

Heads up. Space Pioneer's Tianlong-2 rocket is expected to launch from Jiuquan before the end of March and, if successful, would be China's first commercially developed liquid propellant rocket to reach orbit. weibo.com/tv/show/1034:4…
