Is there a place here to discuss physics mistakes in SF?

For example, the whole "the ringworld is unstable" controversy regarding Larry Nivens Ringworld book.  I have a discussion topic that would get a lot of interest but I don't know if there is an appropriate place to discuss it here.

While it's true that the 'new physics' section is quite accurately described by both 'physics mistakes' and 'science fiction', I think the spirit of the discussion better resides in the 'entertainment and hobbies' thread. Suggest moving / continuing the discussion over there. May not get a lot of bites, regardless. Similar threads have come and gone over the years.
