Space engineering winter school in Russia (skoltech)

Dear colleagues,

I'd like to promote winter school organised by Skoltech Russian new university, established in collaboration with MIT in 2011. This winter school is actually free of charge, accommodation would be provided e.t.c. Honestly this is very nice opportunity for young engineers interested in space technologies to visit Russia.

We would be grateful for any reposts or ideas where we also can share this information.

Skoltech Space Winter School (SWS) - is an intercultural engineering short-term program for students of different scientific and engineering degrees from around the world.

SWS provides participants with real practical understanding how the most perspective directions in space industry are designed. The school will allow participants to get practical experience in concurrent design and systems engineering. The school is higly project-oriented: we are going to design a distributed system of remote sensing satellites interacting with each other to get advantage in reliability, revisit time and other parameters.

Participants will play a role playing game representing a specialist from one of the world's known space companies to get as close as it is possible to real negotiations and technical brainstorming in order to foster the best problem-solving skills in space industry.
