Chris or othersHow does the Gonets satellite fit in the Glonass system. They operate in different orbits and perform different functions. At least thats what I understood from Gunters page on Strela and Gonets? How are these two projects intertwined?

At least thats what I understood from Gunters page on Strela and Gonets? How are these two projects intertwined? They aren't!The report mixed Gonets-M with GLONASS-M, but these systems are completly different. Gonets-M is a low earth orbit store-dump communication system, while GLONASS is a intermediate orbit navigation system.
