Next satellite for Venezuela built and launched by China will be called "El Guaicaipuro". No more details so far.

Spaceflightfans.cn is giving an October launch date for VRSS-3. Very skeptical about this.
They have removed VRSS-3 from their schedule.

Per Chinese rumors there should be a launch out of Taiyuan "relatively soon", with a CASC built payload.
Dunno how long "relatively soon" is....

Also there are reports that:

- The last Chinese launch of the year, as of right now, is a CZ-4C launch from Jiuquan in late December.
- The CASC Group is looking at about 37-38 launches this year (i.e. 12-13 left). Adding other players like CASIC and the total could be 40+.

Any info regarding the status of SaudiSAT-5B?

Quote
SaudiSat-5A and -5B are the second generation of Saudi-made Earth observation satellites, replacing the SaudiSat-2 (launched in 2004) and SaudiSat-3 (launched in 2007) remote sensing satellites that were also manufactured by KACST, SpaceWatch.Global reports.
The two 200 kg high-resolution Earth observation satellites are to be launched later this year from China, via a Long March 2D launch vehicle from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre in the Gobi Desert.

Cross-post re: Beidou-3G1Q launch date:
Launch will be on Nov 1st.

Yes and the flight for BDS-3 M17/M18 should be around mid-November per processing time required (they arrived at the launch site in early October).
