The Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) has asked staff to stay home from Monday onwards in view of the COVID-19 situation.

Launch delayed at least a few weeks due to COVID-19 precautions at launch site.

In this flight, a 4 metre diameter Ogive shaped payload fairing (OPLF) is being flown for the first time
in GSLV to accommodate a larger spacecraft.

Brand new fairing on this flight !

Times of India: Amid pandemic, Isro may have first satellite launch in November, dated October 10
The article addresses ISRO activities scheduled for November and December 2020.  This includes the launches of RISAT-2BR2, GSAT-12R, GISAT-1, and MicroSat-2A.

But, it doesn't explicitly state so.  This launch would follow C50 from the SLP.  C50 is scheduled to launch in December.

There are other sources for the other three satellites scheduled to launch before the end of the year.  They are linked in the corresponding launch threads.

Gisat-1 will be launched in february:
https://www.patrika.com/bangalore-news/gisat-1-will-be-launched-in-feb-now-6592185/

Stephen Clark yesterday reported the launches vice versa: PSLV C51 in late February and GSLV/GISAT-1 NET March: https://spaceflightnow.com/launch-schedule/

Hard to tell if he has some never information than that Partica article of Dec 24, or older.<snip>

Ongoing SSLV preparations take the FLP out of play for other launches.  Both launches, of Amazonia and GISAT-1, will apparently stage from the SLP.

The open question is: which is first, and which follows?

The next launch is Amazônia-1. Presumably GISAT-1 will follow.

So, is the launch of EOS-03, (aka GISAT-1) going to take place in January or March 2021? Also, any news on why it was postponed this year ? Was it an issue with the cryogenic engine ? Or was it due to some external pressure which I initially read ?

Dr.Sivan, ISRO Chairman, did not mention PSLV/Amazonia as the next launch. He was only mentioning this launch due to its significance as it has some satellites from private Indian companies. Unfortunately, the media deduced it as the first launch.

Also, FLP may not be occupied by SSLV as this rocket is on-demand and can be stacked up at the very end. I believe, they will use the new buildings developed as part of PIF project.

TOI, Isro aims for 7 more launches from India in 2021, updated March 12
Slight "bet hedging" in the article, as opposed to the earlier news immediately up-thread: launch in March-April.

The Indian Space Research Organisation has revised the launch schedule of geo imaging satellite GISAT-1 on board GSLV-F10 rocket following a "minor issue" with the spacecraft.

The Bengaluru-headquartered space agency was earlier looking to launch the satellite on March 28, subject to weather conditions.

"There is a minor issue with the satellite", ISRO sources told PTI.

"As of now, we are planning to launch it on April 18".

Strange, last year, it was “technical issue”. I even read an article some months ago, which suggested that last year’s launch was scrubbed at the last minute. The PMO intervened because pressure came from Washington. To be honest, ISRO didn’t say what was the official reason behind last year’s postponement.
