Another NOTAM has been issued for an area in China -- close to launch site, as usual for a solid fuel vehicle.

I do wonder if it is possible for this to be for another of many of Chinese solid rocket launchers (CZ-11, KZ-1A, Ceres-1 etc.) - does the zone move away a bit from previous ones?

If you are right, the Lijian-1 should be launched between 28-30, so a new NOTAM will be actived since 16 until 28.

The past couple days have been flooded with news of Long March 5B launch. Don't forget we'll have the maiden launch of CAS's Vega-class ZK-1A soon on July 27. This cool animation provides us rich information about this launch.

@spacex, are you a customer of this launch?

I really didn't expect it printed on the rocket.

Which is very odd, since none of the letter features an X. Make more sense if it is a stylized S or a stylized 上. Hope they change this abomination soon.

In about 3 hours, CAS will attempt to launch the most powerful solid rocket built in China: #ZK1A, from their own launch pad newly built in Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. The main payload will be SATech-01, while 5 piggyback microsats share the ride. Stay tuned for updates.

At 12:12 on July 27, 2022, Beijing time, the Lijian-1 carrier rocket successfully made its maiden flight at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in my country, and successfully launched a new space technology test satellite, an orbital atmospheric density detection test satellite, and a low-orbit quantum key. The six satellites of the distribution test satellite, the electromagnetic assembly test double satellite and the Nanyue Science Star were sent into the predetermined orbit, and the launch mission was a complete success. The launch vehicle is a solid launch vehicle independently developed by the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The six satellites it carries are used for space exploration, atmospheric density detection and other related technical verification and test applications.

JIUQUAN, July 27 (Xinhua) -- China on Wednesday sent six new satellites into space from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China.

The satellites, including a new space technology test satellite and a test satellite for probing atmospheric density, were launched by a Lijian-1 carrier rocket at 12:12 p.m. Beijing Time and entered the orbit successfully.

The Lijian-1 solid-propellant rocket was independently developed by the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The mission marked the first flight of Lijian-1.
