I hope I'm not missing something obvious, but why are there three to four people listed for each of the Russian EVA crews for the Nauka EVA's rather than two? Are those the groups from whom two crewmembers will be chosen to go outside (e.g., two of Artemyev and Matveyev and Maurer and Korsakov), or will it depend on scheduling, or what?

Potentially old information or their will be alternating Crew for the EVA's.

That would make sense. I had thought about alternating crews but forgotten to mention it.

Yes.

I have mistake for EVA-51, -52 and -53 - Artemyev can not participate in them, because he will arrive on ISS on March 18, so only Shkaplerov and Dubrov.

Also in EVA-54 Maurer will participate along with unknown Russian, probably, Artemyev.

At 6:07 a.m. EDT, NASA astronaut Megan McArthur used the International Space Station’s robotic Canadarm2 to grapple the Northrop Grumman Cygnus spacecraft as ESA (European Space Agency) astronaut Thomas Pesquet monitored Cygnus systems during its approach. The spacecraft were flying about 260 miles above the Atlantic Ocean southwest of Lisbon, Portugal, at the time of capture.

Next, ground controllers will command the station’s arm to rotate and install Cygnus, dubbed the S.S. Ellison Onizuka, on the bottom of the station’s Unity module.

NASA Television coverage of installation will begin at 8 a.m., and installation of the Cygnus spacecraft to the space station is expected to be completed later this morning. Cygnus will remain at the orbiting laboratory for a three-month stay.

Starliner Returning to Factory to Resolve Valve Issue

August 13, 2021

Today, Boeing informed NASA that the company will destack its CST-100 Starliner from the Atlas V rocket and return the spacecraft to the Commercial Crew and Cargo Processing Facility (C3PF) for deeper-level troubleshooting of four propulsion system valves that remain closed after last Tuesday’s scrubbed launch.

Starliner has sat atop the Atlas V rocket in ULA’s Vertical Integration Facility since August 4, where Boeing teams have worked to restore functionality to the affected valves.

The relocation of the spacecraft to the C3PF will require Boeing, NASA and United Launch Alliance to agree on a new launch date once the valve issue is resolved.

“Mission success in human spaceflight depends on thousands of factors coming together at the right time,” said John Vollmer, vice president and program manager, Boeing’s Commercial Crew Program. “We’ll continue to work the issue from the Starliner factory and have decided to stand down for this launch window to make way for other national priority missions.”

Boeing will continue to provide information and updates at www.StarlinerUpdates.com as it becomes available.
