These are great news! It's interesting to notice the things over the Zvezda hatch. I can make out a cross and a scale model of the Clipper. :)

Expedition 14 Commander Michael Lopez-Alegria and Flight Engineer Mikhail Tyurin entered their new home, the International Space Station, at 4:34 a.m. EDT today. They are in the early hours of a six-month stay at the orbital outpost, which began when the Soyuz TMA 9 spacecraft docked at 1:21 a.m.
They were greeted by the Expedition 13 crew members upon floating through the hatch between the station and the Soyuz spacecraft.
Accompanying Expedition 14 is American Anousheh Ansari, who is the first female spaceflight participant to visit the station. She is flying under contract with the Russian Federal Space Agency.
Lopez-Alegria and Tyurin will replace Expedition 13 Commander Pavel Vinogradov and NASA Science Officer Jeff Williams. European Space Agency Astronaut Thomas Reiter will remain on the station and join Expedition 14.
Vinogradov, Williams and Ansari are slated to return to Earth on Sept. 28.

Vienna, Va. – September 20, 2006 -- Space Adventures, Ltd., the world's leading space experiences company, announced today that Anousheh Ansari successfully arrived at the International Space Station (ISS) after launching onboard a Soyuz spacecraft from the Baikonur Cosmodrome on Sept. 18.

The spacecraft docked to the ISS at 1:21 a.m. (EDT) with Mrs. Ansari and Expedition 14 commander Michael Lopez-Alegria and flight engineer Mikhail Tyurin aboard.  They were greeted at 4:34 a.m. (EDT) by NASA astronaut Jeff Williams, Russian cosmonaut Pavel Vinogradov and European Space Agency astronaut Thomas Reiter when the hatch was opened.

After Mrs. Ansari’s eight-day stay aboard the space station, she will return to Earth on Sept. 28 with the Expedition 13 crew members Williams and Vinogradov.

Eric Anderson, president and CEO of Space Adventures, the company which organized the spaceflights for the world's first and only private space explorers: Dennis Tito, 'First African in Space' Mark Shuttleworth and Gregory Olsen, Ph.D., said, “Anousheh is enjoying her spaceflight and looks forward to the time she will spend aboard the space station.  Since the time of her launch, Space Adventures has been overwhelmed with inquiries from around the world with interest in future orbital flights.  We plan to send many more individuals to space in our continued effort in opening the final frontier.”

Since docking is the subject of this thread:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/09/30/AR2006093001038.html

"Vladimir Sergeevich Syromyatnikov, 73, the veteran Russian space scientist whose docking system linked the Soviet Soyuz and the U.S. Apollo space capsules in the 1970s, a system that is still in use, died of leukemia Sept. 19 in Moscow."

This gentlemen has designed every docking system used by every country in space since 1975 (ie, the US, Russia AND China).
