ASOG droneship is underway towards Port Canaveral with B1073, following Tuesday's mission.

Tug Kurt J Crosby is towing the droneship at the moment. Another Crosby tug - Crosby Skipper is sailing to join the convoy, it would appear.

I would expect arrival Sat - Sun.

The weather was just right for the #Falcon9 to create a massive vapor cone during the last Starlink launch. Shot from 20 miles away and a shutter speed of 1/30th of a second. #SpaceX..

No official photos from SpaceX on this flight.  Is this a first?  Maybe all of the photographers are in Texas!

There is this one from the official website.

Maybe they'll upload more to Flickr later.

Damaged strut during ground processing after being recovered from the KPLO launch.
What kind of wastrels would dump a perfectly good booster in the ocean after just one use?

ASOG still underway towards Port Canaveral with B1073 from Starlink 4-26. ETA Sunday.

A tug swap has occurred. ASOG is now being towed by a new tug to SpaceX - Crosby Skipper - which has sailed direct from Louisiana.

Normal tug Kurt J Crosby had diverted towards Jacksonville.

Confusing mission

1. ASOG towed to LZ by Doug
2. Towed from LZ to halfway home by Kurt J Crosby
3. Now being towed the rest of the way by Crosby Skipper.

Under the tow of new tug Crosby Skipper, ASOG and B1073 are really shifting.

Arrival could be as early as 4am on Sunday morning but with plenty of cruise ship traffic it will probably be later. Updates to follow in the morning!

Booster 1073.3 from the #SpaceX Starlink 4-26 mission returned to Port Canaveral this morning aboard ASOG. The new tug Crosby Skipper pulled it back in and the booster still showing white was a nice change. Check @LabPadre Gator Cam for live coverage. #NASA

the new tub and a still reasonably white booster.

SpaceX is taking no chances as they hook up the cap to B1073 after its arrival this morning. Crews were seen guiding the retraction rigging down, indicating they have not yet figured out why one fell last time.
