Dogecoin Plunges Nearly 30% During Elon Musk’s SNL Appearance

A price drop was the only possible outcome short of Musk proclaiming it is the future of currency and he's putting all his money into it. The weird Doge cult had been hyping this SNL appearance nonstop.

I mean he did warn them:

I would have not been shocked to see it go up ... and not be shocked to have seen it go down.

What would have been a shock, is N/C.

I expected Elon to crash, as he's not an entertainer and certainly doesn't have much experience with live comedy television in front of millions of viewers.

He's been in front of millions, overall, over time. It is normal for folks learning to deal with it ...where the first times it is awkward and then it slowly, over time, gets easier.

To the point that being live in front of uncountable numbers becomes a minor thing (meh!). A spot were he actually had an advantage over film performers. They are on film, they don't perform live. (generally, unless they've done extensive theater).

Being inf front of a crowd, is acting. I don't care what anyone says. (Not that I think anyone will really disagree)

Entertaining an audience of hundreds to thousands and keeping them all engaged is a trick learned.. for the intrepid. And he's learned it, over time. And that is acting, in a nutshell.

Sorry for the bump,

IMO, it was incredibly noble of him to acknowledge he's on the autism spectrum on air. As a person on the spectrum myself, I've heard too often the whole "Bill Gates and Albert Einstein" thing that autism advocacy groups preach, but from the mouth of Elon meant a lot of things started to makes sense in my mind with his decisions.
