Excellent launch and landing!

Anyone else think for a few seconds that the Falcon 9 was WAY off from the landing pad on final approach--  :-\

--until you realized that the second landing pad was now complete?

Congratulations to SpaceX, CCAFS and NASA. Onward with the mission.

Excellent coverage everyone! Very much appreciated.

William's article updated:
https://www.nasaspaceflight.com/2017/12/flight-proven-falcon-9-launch-flown-dragon-iss/

New thread for ISS arrival of course.

One post of congrats each, per tradition. All responses, questions and such on to the other threads. CRS missions mean this thread will still be active for immediately on orbit coverage.

Watched this one with my wee boy who was almost as excited as me :) New word for today "rafrah" which I guess means rocket :D

Glad the rookie second stage did its job, never doubted sooty or Dragon of course as they already knew where they were going.

More seriously, great to see a flawless count and launch from SLC40, and here's to an eccelrated cadence in 2018!

Well done SpaceX, NASA, and USAF!

Very exciting to see the first reused booster + reused spacecraft launch since the retirement of the Space Shuttle.

Now it's up to Iridium-4 to finish off the year strong.

Congratulations, SpaceX! Had to drop my wee lad off at daycare before launch, but he's eager to watch the rest when he gets home.  Somehow I'm going to have to dual-screen the NASA and SpaceX feeds, lots of great shots unique to each.
