I assume that the three sub-orbital FB-1 launches to which Igor refers are those on August 10, 1973, September 15,1977 and April 15, 1978.   These three launches were intended to be sub-orbital, according to Chinese sources, and there is no "room" in the sequence of launch codes for the intended orbital missions to include these launches.

On the other hand, the KZ-1T launch had a launch code which fits perfectly into the sequence of Jiuquan launches which were intended to reach orbit, and therefore to me it is reasonable to assume that it was intended to reach orbit: maybe it carried the first KZ satellite, maybe some other payload or even a dummy payload.

Of course, counting the three FB-1 launches not being intended to be orbital and the KZ-1T launch as an intended orbital mission means that the third CZ-11 launch was the 100th launch from Jiuquan which was intended to reach orbit - agreeing with the Chinese announcements.

Perhaps my ears are too pointy, of course.

I've always been crazy but it's kept me from going insane - WJ.

Lingtai Kongjian.
Как отметил Шу Чан, OS-M будет отправлена в космос тоже в 2018 году, однако по срокам ее запуск состоится несколько позже.

China launch schedule

2018

March 15 - CZ-3B/G2 - XSLC, LC2 - APStar-6C

March - CZ-3B/YZ-1 - XSLC - Beidou-3MEO5 (Beidou-30); Beidou-3MEO6 (Beidou-31)

March - CZ-2D - JSLC, LC43/603 - LKW-4 Ludikancha Weixing-4

February 12

Is there any information or deduction, at this juncture, that can help determine the launch sequence for these 2 XSLC launch campaigns?  (I guess NO, but thought I'd ask.)

EDIT: Strike-through LKW-4 launch (JSLC, not XSLC).  My proof-read fail.

Rocket to launch Chinese space station modules, Long March 5B, to have first flight in June 2019
by Andrew Jones Mar 05, 2018 13:30

The rocket designed to launch large modules of the Chinese Space Station to low Earth orbit will have its first flight around June 2019, according to media reports from Beijing on Monday.

The Long March 5B, a 1.5 stage variant of the 2.5 stage Long March 5 developed for launches to geostationary transfer orbit, the Moon and Mars, will have its test flight in the middle of next year, according to a spokesperson for the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA).
