I currently have three models in progress.  Gemini 4, Apollo 7 and SLS.  Gemini 4 will complete my Gemini builds.  I also have constructed an Atlas Agena Gemini Target Vehicle by scratchbuilding the Agena and adding it to the Horizon Models 1/72 scale kit.

In 2015 I started building Gemini models in honor of the 50th anniversary of that program. With the completion of my model of Gemini 4 with Ed White's EVA I have finished the last model of the Gemini program.  It is another 1/48 scale vintage Revell kit.

Thanks!  I have a new project in works, a SLS model from Martin's Models!  I am having a lot of fun building this, even though iit is rather difficult.  It comes with an Orion payload and a fairing for the Europa Clipper.

I picked up a kit from Space Cadet models a few months ago of The Early Pioneers.  It includes Pioneer 2 and Pioneer 4 in 1/12 scale.  It is a really cool kit of some very early space hardware!

Mariner 9 is done!  1/24 scale Realspace Models kit.  I loved it!  The photo with New Horizons and Pioneer 10 are all the same scale.

July 24, 1950, the first rocket was launched from Cape Canaveral, FL.  Using a captured V-2 rocket and a WAC Corporal.  I used a 1/48 scale V-2 model from Pegasus and scratch built a WAC upperstage. I then printed a set of B-8 decals too.  Last photo shows it next to a 1/48 scale Jupiter-C.

Great job, Ron,
how and on what kind of decal paper did you print the decals? Did you cut them out?

It is Testers decal paper for inkjet printers.  You have to spray decal bonder on them.  I used white decal paper because I needed white letters and printed the area around them black.

And to add one bit, I've tried to use other bonding agents than Testors' own decal bonder when making decals, and had very unsatisfactory results.  But Testors decal paper plus Testors bonder really does work pretty well.

Good to know, and I never tried anything else.

First launched in secret in the late 1970's, by the mysterious Hugo Drax from his secret South American base, the Moonraker shuttles had a short career. It is unknown exactly how many times they flew, since very few members of his organization survived, but it is known that Moonraker 1 was the first, and most flown of his fleet. The shuttle flew several times to help construct the secret orbital base of Drax Industries. It was lost, along with Moonrakers 2, 3, 4 and 6 during a joint operation by the British Secret Service and US Marines.
Obviously, from the James Bond movie, Moonraker, I just finished a 1/100 scale model of Moonraker 1. I used the Tamiya kit, JBOT decals, Warbird tile decals and medical tape for thermal protection. I built it a bit different from the studio models, which had brown tiles and a lot of shading. I tried to make it look more what a "real" Moonraker would have been like. The payload bay has a long Spacelab-type module to fly the passengers to the station for its final flight.

I finished a model of Apollo 9 LM Spider.  It is based on the old Monogram 1/48 scale First Lunar Landing kit.  I added many details that were unique the the flight. Scimitar antennas, Golden Slippers, landing probes.  There are two astronauts inside, looking out the windows, but they are hard to see.

Apollo 15 deep space EVA.  It is the 1/32 Monogram CSM with the Realspace interior and SIM Bay.  Astronauts from Space Helmet Models, decals from Space Model Systems.
