The 30th Space Wing have posted another launch notice on their facebook page;
Quote
MINUTEMAN III LAUNCH SCHEDULED
VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. - An operational test launch of an Air Force Global Strike Command unarmed Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile is scheduled between 11:00 p.m. PST Thursday, Feb. 25 and 5:00 a.m. PST Friday, Feb. 26, 2016, from north Vandenberg Air Force Base.
The purpose of the ICBM test launch program is to validate and verify the effectiveness, readiness and accuracy of the weapon system, according to Air Force Global Strike Command.
Col. J. Christopher Moss, 30th Space Wing commander, is the launch decision authority.
"The launch process requires tremendous teamwork and involves months of preparation," said Moss. "The data gained from these launches allows us to maintain a high readiness capability and ensures operational effectiveness of the most powerful weapons in the nation's arsenal."
The launch team, under the direction of the 576th Flight Test Squadron, includes crew members and maintainers from the 91st Missile Wing, Minot AFB, North Dakota.
The 576th FLTS is responsible for installed tracking, telemetry and command destruct systems on the missile, which collect data and ensure safety requirements are met.
For information call Air Force Global Strike Command Public Affairs at (318) 456-1305 or after hours at (318) 532-1215.

The following is a news release from Air Force Global Strike Command:

MINOT TESTS MINUTEMAN III MISSILE WITH LAUNCH FROM VANDENBERG

BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. – A team of Air Force Global Strike Command Airmen from the 91st Missile Wing at Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota, launched an unarmed Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile equipped with a test reentry vehicle Feb. 25 at 11:01 p.m. Pacific Standard Time from Vandenberg Air Force Base, California.

The ICBM's reentry vehicle, which contained a telemetry package used for operational testing, traveled approximately 4,200 miles to the Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands. Test launches verify the accuracy and reliability of the ICBM weapon system, providing valuable data to ensure a continued safe, secure and effective nuclear deterrent.

“These ICBM professionals always make this look so simple, when it's anything but easy! This culminates months of effort that began in the missile fields of North Dakota where they removed this hardware from its alert mission, cataloged every piece and part, and shipped it to California for this event,” Col. Craig Ramsey, 576th Flight Test Squadron commander, said. “This never happens without the tireless efforts of personnel from the 91st Missile Wing and the 576th Flight Test Squadron.”

Minot AFB is one of three missile bases with crew members standing alert 24 hours a day, year-round, overseeing the nation’s ICBM alert forces.

“The opportunity for a Task Force to execute multiple launches in a week doesn’t happen very often, and this has provided a tremendous amount of experience for our team,” said Lt. Col. Brandon Schraeder, 91 MW Task Force Commander. “ Ultimately, these launches are the nation’s most visible demonstration of the ICBM capability.”

The ICBM community, including the Department of Defense, the Department of Energy, and U.S. Strategic Command uses data collected from test launches for continuing force development evaluation. The ICBM test launch program demonstrates the operational credibility of the Minuteman III and ensures the United States’ ability to maintain a strong, credible nuclear deterrent as a key element of U.S. national security and the security of U.S. allies and partners.

MALMSTROM TESTS MINUTEMAN III MISSILE WITH LAUNCH FROM VANDENBERG
By Carla Pampe, Air Force Global Strike Command Public Affairs / Published September 05, 2016

BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. – A team of Air Force Global Strike Command Airmen from the 341st Missile Wing at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana, launched an unarmed Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile equipped with a test reentry vehicle Sept. 5 at 2:10 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time from Vandenberg Air Force Base, California.

“I can’t say enough great things about the partners I share this mission set with,” Col. Craig Ramsey, 576th Flight Test Squadron commander, said. “The men and women from the 341st Missile Wing Task Force, the Airmen from my squadron, and our host unit here at Vandenberg made this look easy, but it was anything but that. To put all of this together for an on-time launch following an enormous reconfiguration of range assets that took six months to complete...it’s simply a testament to the dedication and professionalism of these proud organizations. I’m proud to play a small part in it.”
Malmstrom AFB is one of three missile bases with crew members standing alert 24 hours a day, year-round, overseeing the nation’s ICBM alert forces.

“I’m extremely proud of the 21 maintainers and operators from the 341st Missile Wing Task Force who worked flawlessly alongside the professionals from the 576 FLTS to make this mission a success,” Lt. Col. Ron Clough, Task Force commander, said. “An effort on this scale, and the enormous insights it gives to force readiness, continue to showcase the Minuteman III as the world's premier deterrence and assurance capability.”
