I wish we could convince SpaceX in some capacity to keep the webcast going all the way through SECO 2. Just the simulated telemetry-based view on the left, cycling cameras on the right, mission control dialogue, and maybe some funky music in the background to top it all off  :)

Understand that SpaceX is PR driven;  They don't have to even broadcast the launch, and those tank pics broadcast are out there for a reason.  Like I said this is all PR.  Good, bad, or ugly its all PR driven.  Now everyone back to their drink of choice :P

My son and his buddies will be in Ft Lauderdale tonight. Any chance they'll be able to see the falcon 9 as it is arcs high to the north east?

Probably not tonight due to clouds.

Had him look that way anyway at launch time. Could see it all the way till staging. Said was pretty sweet.

Down for the count with food poisoning and missed the launch...

Congrats SpaceX on a picture perfect launch satisfying your customers.

How about a party thread for the abort test.  ...

No, we won't be having a specific party thread for that. Given the frequency of missions, we'll probably have one master party thread soon......I'll think about it.

For now, locked and on to the next one (don't want two of these bumping down the main threads at the same time!) :)
