The NGA canceled the above Rocket Launching notice as part of this unrelated Hazardous Operations notice for Martinique.

(Emphasis added.)

2. CANCEL NAVAREA IV 1442/24.
3. CANCEL THIS MSG 201700Z NOV 24.

Edit: I was working through the emails from the bottom up, so I saw the cancellation before seeing this new notice, which should have been done as a cancel-and-replace but wasn't. So I guess the NGA decided to just throw the cancellation into whatever notice popped up next for NAVAREA IV.

Note the time change for November 24 and the addition of November 25 at the same time as November 24.

Thread for the 2nd of 4 suborbital launches of Electron/HASTE for Leidos for hypersonic testing from LC-2, NET 22 November 2024 at 00:45-06:00 UTC (21 November 7:45 pm - 22 November 1 am EST). Mission is apparently code-named "HIPPO".

NGA Rocket Launching notice.

Maps from the combined notices. If I'm reading it right, three hippos (or their debris) will splashdown.

It's using HASTE's extended fairing option (and it's loooong)

This is about as close as I can get with a cropped image.

Payload is likely to have wings hence larger fairing.

We are still holding. Weather balloons are being released around every 15 mins. Upper level winds are forecasted to get better later in the window. The window runs until 1am.
