LOX supply allows 2 consecutive near T-0 countdowns, then 5 day GSE LOX replenish.

Question from Steven Young about NASA transparency, particularly re: Psyche.

"Let me get back to you."

5 pm meeting today, primarily about weather, help decide whether to start October 12 countdown.

The space coast is collectively holding it’s breath as worsening weather draws nearer to SpaceX’s Falcon Heavy rocket, poised on LC-39A ahead of launching NASA’s #missiontopsyche spacecraft.

T-0 for now holds at 10:16am tomorrow morning.

NSF phone question! re: NASA fairing reuse.

Also data review of previous F9 launches by LSP must be complete before proceeding with Psyche launch. This includes Starlink 7-4.  Also, LSP asked for the Starlink 6-22 launch delay after weather scrub on October 9, until after Psyche, due to the same post launch analysis reason.

A standard, BS level non response.  I'll bet NASA has never answered Bill Harwood's question from August.  I've yet to see an official confirmation that the EVA is still happening tomorrow after the leak.  Nothing will happen.  Nothing will change.  PA has destroyed the reputation of NASA.

Edit: Just saw Bill Harwood is reporting the EVA is  "likely to slip" a week.  Again NASA PA fails to inform the American public.  Presumably the iSS blog post this evening will provide an update...

The answer about when there's the actual cutoff for post-flight analysis was also very handwavy. Like okay sure, you need time but how much time do you need? 72 hours? 48 hours? We know at least for crew it tends to be 24 hours, why is it that this mission seems to be longer than that? Anything special? None of this was really talked upfront on the conference and it gets a bit tiring

As predicited.   How hard is it to put out a press release?  https://blogs.nasa.gov/spacestation/2023/10/11/spacewalks-postponed-as-managers-review-leak-data/
