Way to go Canada!
Cool looking design, but I think they need to develop that mmod reduction technology first...

Unfortunately, based on the picture on the website, the design is dynamically unstable, since it doesn't spin about its major axis. I don't expect a 12th-grader to catch that problem, but I would expect the contest judges to catch it.
Looks nice but it won't work.
