Isn't that site going to get into a lot of trouble for publishing something that has "for internal use only" on it?  :o
Probably not, but the guy who leaked it better have quick feet!

To me, that doesn't make much sense - this plan delivers the P5 truss and relocates the P6 while leaving off S5 and S6. Wouldn't that unbalance the station somewhat (higher loads on gyros, etc)?
Why not just delete P5 and leave P6 on top of Z1? You save one less assembly flight and end up with a balanced ISS configuration.

If they're needing to cut way down on flights, why not make all of them assembly flights? Maybe one more MPLM next year, until the ATV is proven, then use STS for assembly only and ATV/HTV/Progress for resupply. That could probably complete the truss and possibly even allow Node 3 and the Cupola.

I Like that plan.. Enough with the MPLM's... time for some constuction... may need to toss a few $$$ towards ATV/HTV/Progress, but I would have it a guess that it is a lot cheaper.

The way things are going... looking at the weather at KSC now... the Sep date for STS 116 will most likely be the STS 121 launch date... :(

When was the last time Quest was used?  Cannot remember if they used the shuttle airlock for sts-114 or not.

Russia, Brazil agree on astronaut's flight
MOSCOW, October 4 (RIA Novosti)

http://en.rian.ru/science/20051004/41594359.html

Russia and Brazil have reached a preliminary agreement on the flight of a Brazilian astronaut, the deputy head of the Russian Federal Space Agency said.

"We signed a preliminary contract on the flight of a Brazilian astronaut", Alexander Medvedchikov said, adding that the document provides for the astronaut's arrival in Russia and flight preparation.

"The Brazilian astronaut may come to Russia in the near future," he said without giving the date of the flight.

Russia and Brazil should sign intergovernmental technology protection agreements to implement joint projects, Medvedchikov said.
