jaxa supersonic jet project

 i am intersted in jaxa's D-SEND projects which tries create a supersonic jet. they did D-SEND#1 & #2 but after that we heard nothing in english. i saw there are many japanese here.maybe some japanese firends find somethings aout whats in the future and translates it. Thanks

According to this the experiment was a success who knows maybe we will see supersonic civilian aircraft in the future.

With the Boom startup company making final preparations for the first flight of the XB-1 supersonic technology demonstrator and refining the design of the Overture supersonic airliner while securing orders from the airline industry for the Overture, it will be interesting to see if JAXA will apply lessons from the D-SEND test program to potential Overture version built under license in Japan by Mitsubishi or Fuji.
